Draw Plus Science

Madison's two favorite things are drawing and science, so this book, Draw Plus Science, incorporates her two favorite things. Needless to say, Draw Plus Science was a huge hit in my house!

Freddie Levin uses her step-by-step drawing instruction technique to offer science lessons in a new way — through art activities that introduce sciences. Best of all, your kids won't even realize they are learning while they are having fun drawing! Colorful critters, changing climate and conditions, and odd widgets provide memorable learning experiences with an emphasis on observation and information. Some of the science concepts included are:

  • Characteristics of Organisms
  • Variety In Nature
  • Scientific Classification
  • Learning Through Observation
  • Life Cycles
  • Measuring and Recording Plant Growth
  • Seasonal Changes
  • Adaptation
  • Inherited Traits
  • Environments
  • Insect Characteristics

As an adult, I even enjoyed Draw Plus Science! It makes drawing easy and down to a level that anybody can do it! The added bonus is all of the science you get to learn along the way. I highly recommend it!
