EntreDroppers

Have you heard of Entrecard before? If you are a blogger, its one of those sites that makes you excited like when (aff) you were in high school and found the best acne treatment ever. Seriously, Entrecard drives a fair amount of traffic to your site. However, they recently have gone through some changes that all the users don't agree with. I won't get into that since everything can change again in a day or two.

Instead, this post is about Owen and how awesome he is. Owen has written a plugin called EntreDroppers for us WP users. You can see it working in my sidebar (Its called Latest EntreDroppers). All you have to do is input your RSS feed from your Entrecard inbox, and that's it!  You can tweak it to look like you want — descriptions after blogs, number of blogs showing, etc.  I have mine to show the last ten blogs to drop on me.

Give a shout out to Owen and let him know he rocks and download his plugin!

  1. I think there are more people using WP, so that's why there are so many plugins. That and you said it was such a main in the butt to update, and WP isn't too bad, so people may be just using the easier system.

  2. Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts during this time of loss for me and my family. It means a lot to me.

I am not sure where I am supposed to put my RSS feed on the inbox so that I can have that cool feature. Any help that you will give my on this would be much appreciated.

  3. Sure. When you are looking on your dashboard — you see the RSS feed thing right? Right click on it, and save link. Then go to your widgets screen. Click on the EntreDroppers Widget and it'll ask for the URL there. Just paste the URL and you're done. 🙂
