Four Foods On Friday

Woo hoo! Two weeks in a row I remembered to do the Four Foods On Friday. Though, after answering these questions you may think I need some diet pills. Here we go:

#1. What’s your favorite potato chip? Do Nacho Cheese Doritos count as a potato chip. Probably not, so I'd have to say I don't really care for potato chips.
#2 (aff). Do you use butter, margarine, both or neither? Margarine
#3 (aff). What’s your favorite mixed alcoholic (or virgin) drink? Strawberry Margaritas
#4. What’s your favorite vegetable and how do you prepare it? Green Beans. I open the can and put in the pan and turn the stove on. LOL I don't cook much, can you tell?

We have very similar green bean recipes. Here's mine: remove bag of beans from freezer, pour into dish. Add small amount of water, put lid on and place in microwave. Cook on high till they're done. Remove, add butter and eat. 😀

I think Doritos are corn base…though if you exclude 'potato' I'd have to agree. Doritos rock.

And I don't think you need diet pills…some people just don't cook. There's nothing wrong with that!

Lynne, thanks for making me feel not so bad for not having a good recipe to include this week, lol

Haha… I think I have you guys beat on the green beans – take from the freezer, put in microwave, turn on. Steam bags – nothing to open. I love Doritos too. Have you tried the new ones that have 2 flavors in the bag? I like the zesty taco and chipotle ranch. Strawberry Margarita would be lovely right now. I love Mojitos too.

I'm appalled and shocked at the blatant abuse of green beans. 😀

  7. corrin

Love your green bean recipe. Even I can do that!

Just don't give out your recipe for Strawberry Maragritas. Remember how much tequilla you put in the mix at Bill Graduation? Or should I say, do you not remember?

I wish all cooking was as easy as opening a can too! I had a friend that just put the can on the stove, no pan required!

I cook like that quite a bit! Just I save all the canned veggies in case of hurricane and use the infamous steam bags quite a bit when we have power.

LMAO, hey you stole that from one of my weeks 😀
