Galilee Silks Giveaway!

I am always on the lookout for products that are hand made.  There is just a better quality to them, and for me, they tend to last longer.  I like to think that there is bit of love put into each piece when you hand made them also.  That is why I am excited to tell you about Galilee Silks.

Galilee Silks is a leading silk designer that specializes in the hand-dying of raw white silk and produces a distinctive range of unique Judaica textile products, fashion items and silk accessories.  Their factory is located in Kibbutz Beit Haemek in the northern part of Israel, and they have distribution operations in the USA.  Among their designs are fashion items including jackets, skirts, sarongs, scarves, necklaces, T-shirts with silk applique?, gifts, and Judaica items such as unique designed Tallitot (prayer shawls), with Halachically approved fringes, Challa and Matzo covers and more.  Galilee Silks was founded by Shlomit Azati, its managing director, as a single employee crafts business. Today, it’s Israel’s leading silk designer and hand-dying factory, employing over 20 specialists.  I love that the owner grew a business out of something that he loved to do.  Don't we all wish we could do that with our passion?

I recently was able to try out one of their silk scarves in rainbow colors.  I always feel like a scarf is one of those must have accessories.  I love this one, because it matches everything.  It also adds a splash of color to those days you only feel like wearing black.  The fabric is high quality, and I can't describe how soft (and pleasant feeling) it is when on your skin.  The colors are just beautiful too.  I also love that on their site that all of their costs including shipping.  What you see is what you get and you don't have a shock when you go to check out.

Since I am such a fan of their products, I have arranged for one lucky reader to win a $50 gift certificate to Galilee Silks!  Here's what you need to do:
