Did you know that 9 out of 10 poison exposures are suspected to be from household products? Have you ever looked at your cleaning products and realized that you have no idea what most of the ingredients are? Did you know that out of the 75,000 registered chemicals out there that only a fraction of them have ever been tested for human health concerns?
What products did you find? Did you know that most carpet cleaners have fumes that can cause cancer and liver damage? Did you know that drain cleaners can cause damage to eyes, skin, mouth, and stomach, and can be fatal if swallowed? Did you know the toilet bowl cleaners are harmful to you by simply breathing during use? I could go on and on. It is actually quite scary when you review the products that you have and what damage they can cause.
What’s a person to do? You want your house clean, but you want to take care of your family and environment too (at least, I do). This is where Get Clean steps in. Why should you use their products? First, they are non-toxic and kid safe. They are free of harsh chemical and fumes and still are a high performance cleaner. If their products don’t work as well as you want, they will refund your money.
What’s the next step? You need to get a Get Clean Starter Kit. This starter kit alone eliminates 108 lbs of packaging waste from the landfill, 248 lb of greenhouse gas emissions, and it is the equivalent of planting ten trees. It also replaces about 830 bottles or boxes of cleaning products you may already have. Here is a list of all the products that are included:

Now, if you don’t want all of this, you are able to order single item things. I know I am looking at the laundry detergent. I hate having a huge container that I cannot lift. Another cool thing about these products is that they actually made Oprah’s favorite things list in 2007. We all know what an exclusive list that is!
These are products that are both good for you and your family. I recommend giving them a chance to replace what you are already using. With their money back guarantee, you have nothing to lose.
Hi, this is totally off topic!
But I visit your blog often because I notice you left an EntreCard on mine. I can't find your widget! Is it staring me in the face? I would like to leave my EntreCard on yours!
Thanks, Sue
Its in the sidebar under Bloggers Lounge. 🙂
It's a bit ironic, apart from being scary of course, that very same product that are meant to protect our health can damage it in such way. Can't realize how is it possible that those cleaning products ain't tested.
It is really crazy they out in cleaning things, I don't understand why they do that! That is one reason I try to buy organic!
I generally like anything that is on "Oprah's List"! So, good to know about these. I am very conscious about what goes on the surfaces in my home. I have been using Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day products which are very safe and environmentally friendly. The geranium scent is my favorite…it makes my whole house smell wonderful! 🙂
Thanks for the info.
The greatest thing about these are that they are concentrate!
The product seems great. Too bad it;s not yet available in my country 🙁 Thanks for sharing anyway and I am hoping this will be available soon so I can protect not only my house, but my family as well.
have a great day 😀
Hye
Where are you from? What country? We're in 5 countries.
I'm still baffled over them canceling it like that and screwing everything up. It's good that you have plenty of time to get things rearranged, but I still think Delta should be doing all the legwork for you and making arrangements to make up for their duh-ness. Is that a word? LOL
btw …. tag, you're it
Wow – these products are great. I think for me it's a matter of convenience – meaning it's so easy to pick the stuff up at the grocery store vs. remembering to order online "before" I run out of whatever product. I guess I should do it for the safety reasons – and simply make it a priority over convenience!
I have used some of the products and you need to know they don't work as well. You need to judge how much it is worth it to you and what you are willing to give up. I continue to use the general/window cleaner. The window cleaner does leave streaks so you have to work hard at avoiding them. I've used the auto dishwash soap and found that my dw would smell badly afterwards. I was told this might happen. I also used the laundry soap and some of the clothes retained their odors…inc. body odors. I also use Sun and Earth products and love them.
Grace,
That stinks. I've had the exact opposite experience. If the glass cleaner is leaving streaks you're not mixing it correctly. TWO drops or else yes you will have streaks. The dishwashing detergent is my favorite and does wonders for us. Your the first person I've ever heard say this.
that is kinda scary isnt it. poisons on our kitchen and toiletries
