This post brought to you by Allstate. All opinions are 100% mine.
With all of the craziness of the world today, have you been able to triumph over adversity, fear, or doubt? Do you have an Allstate Good Life?
Allstate believes that the Good Life is inherently social. It is taking place in people’s natural social conversations and now Allstate has permission to join in because they are an insurance company who creates more good vs. take care of the bad especially when you see all the crazy weather we have had in this nation this year. (Other years have seemed bad, but this year takes the cake for crazy, unpredictable weather. As I work on this post, I've got thunderstorm warnings going off). I thank our lucky stars that the worst we have had so far is my yard flooding. There are so many people out there that have it way worse than a little water in my shed.
I remember when I first moved here to Chicago from Green Bay. I knew no one. I didn't have a job. Bill got food poisoning and was hospitalized for a week and off work for 8 eights weeks following that. It was a scary time. However, 13 years late, I am still here. I have a house. I have a family. I have friends. I even worked a couple of jobs here before I had kids. I have 2 pretty much healthy kids (one is graduating from kindergarden this week!) . You have to overcome that fear to make your life whole, to make your life as fulfilling as you can. You cannot allow adversity, fear, or doubt to overtake your life. Otherwise, you find yourself unhappy and unfulfilled and trying to figure out where you went wrong. Life is way too short for that.
What are some of your stories? What have you overcome? How are you living the Allstate Good Life?

We just came out of a discouraging time in our lives, but things are looking up and it’s nice to look over the horizon and see some normality in our future again.

We’ve been pretty fortunate so far. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
You’ve had an amazing journey!
From every bad situation comes a great one.. this always manage to work themselves out 😉
To sum things up, if someone told me 12 years ago that I would be happily married with three children at 30, I would have told them that they were insane. The fact that this is indeed the case is certainly the good life!
