Goodbye

Today, I had to say goodbye to my trusty Airwalks. It was a sad day. I've had these shoes for about 13 years. I think I got them in high school, so they may be a bit older. I loved these shows. They were comfortable and they lasted a long time. The only reason I had to buy a new pair of shoes was because the heels on the shoes were wearing out and rubbing my heels. I am happy with my new shoes (I think). They too are a 4 1/2 (aff) (yes, my feet are that small). They are New Balance shoes and when I put them on, it doesn't feel like I even have shoes on. I really wanted another pair of Airwalks, but we'll see how these do.

Anybody else have shoes they hate to part with?

yep, my Ugg boots! They were pink, fluffy and nice and warm and I wore them to death! Actually I didn't part with them…DH threw them out when we cleaned out our closets. Oh well, it's an excuse to buy new ones for winter!

4.5?!?! that's a size?! LOLYou strange tiny footed person you. I've had the same pair of Doc Martens since I was a junior in high school, they've seen a lot of roads.

I've got a pair of Sketchers boots I've had for about 10 years that I refuse to part with. I'm not a big shoe person, so I only have about 5 pair, but I can't tell you the last time I wore any of the other pair except my motorcycle boots.
