H17txt with Motospeak Review and Giveaway!

This giveaway is now over. The winner is Jessica. Congrats!

Did you know that June was National Safe Driving Month?  Motorola did and their “Get Smarter”™ cars will be making stops in markets with new hands-free laws, including New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, and San Francisco to make sure consumers are driving responsibly and staying legal this summer.  I know I’ve seen the commercials on TV that shows the texts people were reading or writing when they got into accidents.  It’s such a dumb thing to be doing while you are driving.

That is why I was excited to try out the H17txt.  The H17txt handset is awesome.  It reads your texts to you over Bluetooth and lets you customize automated responses, so you can put your cell down and stay focused on the road.  Seriously.  It took me less than 5 minutes to set up and I was running.  The cool thing was that I was able to download their app for both my blackberry and my new EVO phone!  Also, when you download Motorola’s safe driving mobile app, Smart Hands-Free, you can just type in the state you are traveling to and the local hands-free laws are at your fingertips.  Chicago is hands free in case you ever come to visit.  ?

I love my H17txt handset.  It works great.  I don’t know what I did without it before!  Since I love my X17txt headset, I want one of my lucky readers to get one also!  Here’s what you need to do:

Check out the H17txt on the Motorola website and tell me what feature you think you’ll like best!

  1. My favorite feature is the ability to listen to text messages with the MotoSpeak Application.
Thank you so much for the giveaway.

  2. Since this would be for my daughter, to me the best aspect is the safety it would help provide–in addition to keeping her ticket free in CA!

  3. I love that it reads text, and since that is the only way my teenager seems to be able to communicate, well this would be perfect.

  4. I think its unbelievably cool that it can read your text messages to you. I hope it knows 'txtspk' though. 🙂

  5. I like thew voice-enabled texting feature but it's all so neat to not have to take your eyes off the road.

  6. I would give this to my sister, and any features is up to her. But, if it was for me I would like the "Listen to Your Text Message" feature

  7. For me, the best thing is hands free. I've never had a headset and this will be great to have. Thanks for the contest.

  8. Besides the fact that you can listen to your text, it says that you customize for your preferred wearing style. I have a bluetooth but it is not comfortable. This looks like it would fit comfortably.

Thank you for the chance, 🙄

    Nikki

  9. My favorite feature of the H17txt would be the ability to listen to streaming music (would love to use it to listen to Slacker and Pandora in the car!), media, and navigation. Very cool!

  10. I'm impressed with the H17txt's RapidConnect feature, along with the CrystalTalk technology and the MotoSpeak application. But the one feature that is my favorite is that it's 'hands free,' which makes it ideal for my wife! And for the record… she was not even aware that a National Safe Driving Month existed. 😯
