Hello, New York City!

My sister-in-law lives in New York, so when (aff) I came across Hello, New York City! I knew I had to get it for my kids.  This book is a great way to introduce where she lives to them.  This book is a travel guide but for kids.  It mentions all the places you need to check out if you ever go to New York.  However, it has kid appropriate pictures for each place.  The pictures definitely show why you want to visit.  Since it is a board book, it's really appropriate for any age.

If you want your kids to learn about New York, then you definitely need to get your hands on Hello, New York City!  My kids loved it and so will yours!
