If you are a long time reader, you will know what we went through as a baby with Will.
Will was my kid that nobody knew what to do with. Will was a constant “spit-up” or “throw-up” baby. As soon as he was done eating, as soon as you sat him up, you were wearing what he just had.
This was just a constant in our lives. Trust me, it is super hard to get a babysitter when you have to explain this to people. Will is now 8, and we no longer have these issues. That being said, it was so bad that people still talk about how bad it was. We tried anything anybody ever told us. He eventually outgrew it. I was one of the “lucky” ones. Even though he was constantly spitting up, he still gained weight. However, what I wouldn’t have given at the time for Enfamil A.R.™
Now, it is common for babies to spit-up while their digestive system develops, and every baby has periods of fussiness and irritability. Did you know that about two thirds of otherwise healthy infants may have uncomplicated reflux?
Enfamil A.R. is the #1 selling brand of formula for spit-up- and is clinically proven to reduce spit up by over 50% in infants with frequent spit up, while still providing the complete nutrition your baby needs to reach key milestones. This sounds heaven sent for anybody who has kids with spit-up issues (GER).
Visit www.Enfamil.com/AR to learn more and make sure you talk to your pediatrician before pursing any potential options. (It is important to learn the differences between acid reflux, also known as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) and the much more common uncomplicated reflux, also called Gastroesophageal Reflux (GER).)
Did your child have spit-up issues? What did you try to help it?
My youngest used to have a terrible time with GER. It was really, really bad. =(
My friend’s oldest son had this problem and she still talks about it 14 years later. I can only imagine how awful it was.
I breastfed my son for 15 months. He spit up a bit in the beginning, but the pediatrician said it was normal and continued to encourage me to breastfeed.
Enfamil really makes things easier on parents. It seems like GER is a pretty common problem that new parents run into.
I breastfed my daughters, but I’m so glad that there are so many options for moms and babies out there! I know GER can make kiddos pretty miserable.
I am so fortunate I never had any health concerns with my son. It really is heartbreaking for me to hear of children that have to endure any difficulties.
I had to deal with this issue with my last two kids. It’s never fun. Enfamilar sounds like a great brand to consider trying to use. Thank you for sharing.
I’ve never had this problem with my two kids. Enfamil is a great brand. I gave this to my kids when they were babies.
My nephew went through some serious issues with GER. It was terrible! After several months and trial and error they finally found a solution. It is great that there are so many options for moms through formula.
Enfamil is a great brand, glad I never had problems with my baby girl 🙂
I never had this problem with my daughter but I am so glad there is help for those that do!
At what age or month can babies take Enfamil? How long will infants need to take this infant formula to work for them?
This sounds like the perfect solution for a baby who has an upset tummy. I am thankful none of my kids had too many issues.
I know how stressful this is for parents! We only want proper nutrition for our babies, but when they start showing signs of GER, it is makes us worry so much. Good thing there are infant formulas that help babies through this stage.
My kids were given this brand when we came home from the hospital but they never really liked drinking formula. Its grteat to know that this is great for those babies with GER.
My son never had that issue when he was a baby. Thankfully. But I’m so glad to know that there is a formula now to help babies with that issue.
That Enfamil AR was a lifesaver for my sister and niece! She had the WORST GERD ever!! Poor thing!
We never had any issues like this when our kiddos were babies but I remember my mom telling me my little sister had spit up issues. I’m so glad they have this now to help.
They sent it home w/us from the hospital. If the hospital trusts it, I know that I can too. 🙂
My daughter went through as an infant. Something like this would have helped her!
Having a new baby is stressful enough. Throw in feeding issues and it can be chaos. Glad to know there are options for kids who have problems digesting.
My youngest had this problem and thankfully we were able to switch to enfamil. It’s so hard watching little babies go through that!
I know how frustrating tis can be. My niece had horrible reflux as a baby and allergic to everything. She eventually grew out of it as well, thank goodness. I know how much we all appreciated this Enfamil.
Motherhood is tough as is, adding a sick baby into the mix just makes it harder. You survived to tell the story, while this wasn’t around when you needed it glad to see new moms can get a little help for their little ones.
