If you are a long time reader, you will know what we went through as a baby with Will.

Will was my kid that nobody knew what to do with.  Will was a constant “spit-up” or “throw-up” baby. As soon as he was done eating, as soon as you sat him up, you were wearing what he just had.

This was just a constant in our lives. Trust me, it is super hard to get a babysitter when you have to explain this to people.  Will is now 8, and we no longer have these issues.  That being said, it was so bad that people still talk about how bad it was. We tried anything anybody ever told us. He eventually outgrew it. I was one of the “lucky” ones.  Even though he was constantly spitting up, he still gained weight.  However, what I wouldn’t have given at the time for  Enfamil A.R.™

Now, it is common for babies to spit-up while their digestive system develops, and every baby has periods of fussiness and irritability. Did you know that about two thirds of otherwise healthy infants may have uncomplicated reflux?

Enfamil A.R. is the #1 selling brand of formula for spit-up- and is clinically proven to reduce spit up by over 50% in infants with frequent spit up, while still providing the complete nutrition your baby needs to reach key milestones.  This sounds heaven sent for anybody who has kids with spit-up issues (GER).

Visit www.Enfamil.com/AR to learn more and make sure you talk to your pediatrician before pursing any potential options. (It is important to learn the differences between acid reflux, also known as Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) and the much more common uncomplicated reflux, also called Gastroesophageal Reflux (GER).)

Did your child have spit-up issues?  What did you try to help it?

  1. I breastfed my son for 15 months. He spit up a bit in the beginning, but the pediatrician said it was normal and continued to encourage me to breastfeed.

  2. My nephew went through some serious issues with GER. It was terrible! After several months and trial and error they finally found a solution. It is great that there are so many options for moms through formula.

  3. I know how stressful this is for parents! We only want proper nutrition for our babies, but when they start showing signs of GER, it is makes us worry so much. Good thing there are infant formulas that help babies through this stage.

  4. We never had any issues like this when our kiddos were babies but I remember my mom telling me my little sister had spit up issues. I’m so glad they have this now to help.

  5. I know how frustrating tis can be. My niece had horrible reflux as a baby and allergic to everything. She eventually grew out of it as well, thank goodness. I know how much we all appreciated this Enfamil.

  6. Motherhood is tough as is, adding a sick baby into the mix just makes it harder. You survived to tell the story, while this wasn’t around when you needed it glad to see new moms can get a little help for their little ones.
