That’s my life in a nutshell. It started Friday night when Madison left Daddy/Daughter date night after an hour, because she didn’t feel good. (Now, Will had the flu when everybody had snow days). I was at a 31 show (kinda like a purse party), and by the time I got home, she had thrown up. No sleep Friday night because well, she threw up all Friday night. Trust me, after not sleeping all night, I was probably babbling on about horse insurance services. Bill was suppose to relieve me and didn’t. Her last throwing up was at midnight Saturday night (or would that be Sunday morning). However, she is showing keytones in her urine. Now, if you read me regularly, you’ll know that this is what gets her trouble. We need to get those to 0. If we don’t keep an eye on them and they spike, we are in the hospital with her. Good times, let me tell you. I’ve tested more pee in the last couple of days . . .Right now, we can’t seem to get her out of the Small range. We sometimes end up with trace. However, she ate an entire can of soup herself for dinner and she had a sandwich for lunch, so I;m hoping that helps. If not, I think I may have to call the pediatrician, and see what to do next. She’s not spiking, but she isn’t going down either. However, today was her first day of eating real food, so that has got to make a difference. Well, Sunday morning rolled around and Bill started throwing up. I held off till Sunday afternoon. It was so bad that we sent Will to grandma’s house. There was no way we were going to be able to get him to school when I couldn’t even sit up without getting sick. I spent most of today in bed with the most horrible headache known to man. You could have sold me anything from cheap horse insurance to a brand new car if it would have gotten rid of my migraine. It was horrible. Napping actually made it worse (I didn’t think that was possible).
However, I think we are all on the mend now (I hope!). I’ve still got a headache though manageable. Madison is eating, so we are hoping for 0 keytones in the morning so I can send her to school! Will’s still at grandma’s so hopefully we can get him back home tomorrow too.
