Ahhhh, the joys of having two kids in school. I can't tell you how many pencil sharpeners we have gone through in the last year. Seriously. We've tried the handheld ones. Somehow my kids broke a crayon in one, broke an eraser off in another, and I'm not even sure what they did with the third one to make it quit sharpening. We tried a cheap battery powered one. Besides the battery not lasting, my kids thought it was fun to sharpen the pencils till there was nothing left to them.  I know I can't be the only one with these issue.

As you can see from the video, it is hands free and self sharpening. When the pencil is sharpened perfectly, the pencil is ejected and the power is shut off. The Ez View Shavings Reservoir allows allows you to see when you need to empty the shavings. (It also is super easy to do this!).
