With a New Year upon us, we often reflect on what matters to us most and take the time to reassess our goals and make resolutions such as going back to school, getting a better job, learning a new skill, taking a class, or picking up a hobby. As many of you know, one of my resolutions this year is to keep losing weight and then maintaining that weight loss.
With the economy the way it is, many people this year are looking to advance their skill set. When I went to college, I was the very definition of a nontraditional student. I attended night classes, weekend classes, took AP tests, and even internet classes. All of that hard work paid off when I graduated in May 2001 with my BA. I toy with going back and picking up some computer classes, so I can help other bloggers with design and stuff with their blogs.
This is where Ivy Bridge College steps in and can be the answer for many of you looking to add to their education and/or skill base. IBC offers flexibility and convenience with the ability for Moms to earn their degree while they continue to work or while they stay at home to raise their children. IBC offers support services including a free online private community dedicated to students who are Moms where they can connect with and support other student Moms. Some of the other great support services IBC offers are:
- Dedicated weekly success coaching which includes career planning, resumé writing and interviewing skills
- Free tutoring
- Personalized academic advising and guided pathways to earning an accredited college degree
- Ability to earn a college degree in as little as 17 months
IBC is designed for students to earn their associate’s degree and then seamlessly transfer to over 150 “name brand” partner schools, including Arizona State University, the University of Maryland, Pace University, Pepperdine University, Rutgers University, George Mason University, among others. Transferring from other two-year schools can be a very complicated process. Students often waste credits, time and money on courses that ultimately won’t transfer. Ivy Bridge College solves this problem by establishing clearly articulated transfer agreements with each of their partner schools to eliminate this headache. They have mapped out success paths so their students aren’t wasting time or money. To see all of IBC’s partner schools, click here: http://ivybridge.tiffin.edu/transfer-programs/partner-universities IBC also costs less than 1/3 of what it costs to attend other private schools.
Since I believe education is so important (it has been shown the college graduates earn more than those with a degree), I have arranged for only lucky reader to win a $1000 off their tuition. Recipients of the discount must be new to IBC (specifically, not someone who has already applied to, enrolled, or requested information from IBC) and they need to be degree-seeking, studying a minimum of part-time, and enroll at Ivy Bridge College (not Ivy Bridge College Extension). All tuition discount offers expire September 1, 2013.
