The Jungle Book Giveaway!

The Jungle Book is a “new” 3D CGI animated TV series now airing on Disney XD Monday – Friday at 11:00 a.m. daily, following Disney XD’s #1 show Phineas & Ferb.

The Jungle Book was once just a Classic Tale and a Walt Disney Movie – now it’s coming to TV for the first time with “new” additional characters and more action adventure animated stories, based on Rudyard Kipling’s original storybook tales for the 1800’s. Mowgli, the boy raised by wolves, and his jungle animal friends continue to entertain new fans with captivating stories that have been shared from generation to generation for the past 120 years.

The Jungle Book follows Mowgil as he swings his way through the jungle, finding adventure wherever he goes along with his trusty friends Baloo (Wise Bear) who serves as his mentor, Bagheera (Black Panther) his best friend and Kaa (Mighty Rock Python) who helps the group when it best serves him. Adversity is often found in the form of Shere Kahn (Treacherous Royal Bengal Tiger) whose goal is to capture Mowgli. Using his quick wit, natural curiosity and most importantly his friends, Mowgli overcomes the challenges presented by Shere Kahn and whatever other obstacles may be waiting for him in the dangerous jungle.

We were sent a screener DVD that included 5 episodes of this hit TV show. They have read the book and seen the Disney movie, so they knew the back story. They enjoyed watching the cartoon too. I love a family friendly show like this! I also liked the CGI animation and that there are lessons in each episode.
