I am a fan of Knock Knock products. They have some really funny ones (like the WTF sticky notes) and they have some more practical items too like Roadtrip Bingo.

My family and I recently were able to try out the Roadtrip Bingo. This is a must have for any car ride you will be on (definitely, perfect for our 4 hour car trips to Green Bay, Wisconsin). 12 cards come in the package, so everybody in the car can play (though I don't know of too many vehicles that actually seat 12). The game is super easy to play too. You just spot items that are on the cards (there is a picture plus the word, so nonreaders can play too!). When you see an item on your card, you push back the item's square. This allows you to use the same card over and over and over again! When somebody gets five in a row (across, down, or diagonal), they should yell Bingo. The directions then say to stop for ice cream. (We didn't).

This is a game that definitely gets a thumbs up. It keeps the kids occupied (both the reading and nonreading one), and it usually isn't a short game. It also keeps their minds off of how long we have been sitting in the car (especially helpful when we are sitting in traffic and not moving). I love that the card can be reused over and over again. You just have to be careful that the littler ones don't put the entire square off.

  6. I love Knock Knock products, too. The WTF sticky notes keep us giggling and I'd love to give the WTF stamp to my daughter's teacher even though I'm sure she won't be able to use it, much as I know she'd love to. 😉
