Leap Frog – Math Circus

Leap Frog - Math CircusI ordered the DVD LeapFrog: Math Circus for Madison last week. The DVD came today, and we have already watched it.

I like this video. It did not drive me nuts as some children's programming can. It is a cartoon with an actual plot. This video teaches numeration, problem solving, and creative thinking skills. In other words, she is learning counting, addition, subtraction, and so much more. This video held her attention (which is somewhat amazing since nothing holds her 3 (aff) year old attention span!). This video is designed for children ages 3 (aff) – 6.

I have not seen this particular DVD, but as an educator (I've taught Early Childhood and 1st & 2nd grades), I know that the Leap Frog educational products are excellent. What a great headstart Madison will have!

Lisa, if you have a chance, email me and let me know how Madison likes Leap Frog Math. I'm always interested in educational products and what kids like best about them.

She loves the music the best. She goes around singing with it and not realize she is learning.
