I’m one of those weird people who like to paint (I don’t like paying for said paint, but I don’t mind painting at all). That is why I jumped at the chance to go talk to the Benjamin Moore people:
This was an extremely helpful event. I learned why I am having such a hard time with my yellow bathroom (who knew yellow is one of the toughest colors to paint. I personally thought it was red! My old color still keeps bleeding through). The color red decreases the visual size of the room, so it’s to be avoided in small areas. It also discourages the ability to concentrate, so a room that is used to file taxes or read books, a pale blue is ideal, since it stimulates concentration and visual size of the room. I also got some ideas on how to paint my super narrow hallway. I got to see Kim’s house, and I can’t wait to see it in 6 months when it is done! It will looks awesome. I loved that the Benjamin Moore representatives were so helpful and knowledgeable. I’m definitely considering having a color consultant come to my house! With Madison’s first communion next year, my paint definitely needs a facelift!
Thanks for joining in and for writing about it. I'm glad it was helpful (and fun!). Can I embed this slideshow? I love it and have few pictures of the event.
Most definitely!
I stopped by because you said you liked to paint…..you're welcome at my home any time!
