Don't be tricked by your treats this Halloween! Did you know that many peanut-inspired candies maintain their “freshness” with an ingredient called “TBHQ”?–aka lighter fluid. Nobody's gonna lay a finger on…that candy bar. Did you know that some candies promise life's simple pleasures with vanilla nougat and caramel covered milk chocolate, and one glance at the label reveals their “chocolate” contains eight ingredients?

Launched this summer, Legit Organics casts a spellbinding remix on organic candy with a range of treats that tread lightly on the planet and prove that all-natural can taste better than their synthetic and additive-ridden counterparts. These certified organic products won't be wearing a mask this Halloween. Legit Organics' Shot Caller chocolate bar (also inspired by peanuts) packs each wrapper so full of all natural, roasted-nut goodness there's no room for TBHQ. Legit Organics' Word. chocolate bar contains natural oils and organic ingredients sourced from local, ethical farmers. Instead of chemically infusing candy bars with flavor, Legit is dedicated to achieving mouthwatering taste with just a few premium ingredients.

I know, I know — but how do they taste? OMG – it is heaven in a wrapper. These are sooooo good. I won't be handing them out for Halloween, because well, Bill and I hid them as our secret stash. They are so good that we didn't even share them with the kids! My favorite was the ShotCaller while Bill's was Word. I love that I can read the ingredient list for both of these candy bars and actually know what everything is!

These are candy bars that you have to get ahold off and try. They are so good!
