I love true story movies. I feel as if I connect better, and Lion is one of those films that you better have the tissues close when you watch. You can feel yourself rooting for Saroo, but I'm getting ahead of myself since you probably don't know what the film is about.
Saroo is a young Indian boy. He went to work with his older brother one day and becomes separated from Guduu. He gets on a train that he thinks his brother is on (he is not). Instead, he finds himself 1200 miles from his home and nobody can understand him. He is put in an orphanage, and after a bit adopted. He has a great life in Tasmania with his new parents, but at age 25, he feels the pull to learn more about his past and find his biological family.
It is a such a good movie with a great soundtrack. I can only recommend that you Lion yourself!
