A Little Prevention Goes A Long Way

I'd like to introduce you to Daisy. I think she is about 5 years old now and my kids absolutely adore her. Overall, she's a pretty great loving dog, so we only want the best for her.

I am going to be honest about how lucky we have been. With Daisy, we haven't had any issues with fleas or ticks yet. The key world is yet, because I know so many people who have had issues. That being said, I know how hard it is to get rid of them once your pets have already been infested. The time and the vet visits alone can run you hundreds of dollars and hundreds of hours. If you are anything like me, remembering to do monthly applications just doesn’t happen which is why I love Adams™ Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs & Puppies so much.

Haven't heard of Adams™ Flea & Tick Collar for Dogs & Puppies before? It is one of the first and few collars that protects your pet from fleas, ticks and mosquitoes. Yes, you heard me correct. They will protect your best friend from mosquitoes too. Here in Chicago, we have a lot of those, so I was happy to see that especially since its just starting to get warm here.

Just look for the new red circle tin at your local WalMart or on WalMart.com to get yours! Each package has two adjustable collars and conveniently provides a full year (12 months) of protection! That means, no more having to remember every month to do it! I just set my calendar to replace collars every six months! Each tin retails for $19.99 – 24.99 for a 2-collar pack. Plus, a collar is so much easier than topical treatments since Daisy doesn't ever sit still for more than a couple of minutes. The collar doesn't bother her, and I don't think she even realizes she has it on! Visit http://bricks.coupons.com/Bstart.asp?o=131587&c=HU&p=7v1oBWTX for more detail and a money-saving coupon (available for a limited time).

In celebration of the new collar, Adams PetCare is conducting a contest where pet owners can win $1,000 in prizes by submitting their dog’s selfie. Top honors will go to entries that capture the pride a dog feels whenpest-free. No purchase necessary. See website for details. Who can't use $1,000 to spend on their pet?

How do you protect your dog from fleas, ticks, and mosquitos?

Well hello Daisy aren’t you a good looking girl. We should always want best for our fur babies.

We actually have pills from the vet for our dog to help keep him flea and tick free. This is a wonderful alternative to the medicine.

  3. Jeanette

We always worry about fleas and ticks where we live so we use a preventative to make sure that our dog is healthy and happy. We love our dog so much we just want to make sure she is happy.

  4. Tammy

Your pup is so adorable!! I so miss our dog so much. We use to use the flea collar but he got to where he was scratching it a lot when he got older. It worked wonderfully living here on sand. So we had to go with the pills.

We use a neck drop for Sally for fleas and ticks and *touch wood* she has only had fleas once, when I changed brands and she came into contact with an animal that had a bad infestation and I felt so sorry for her!

  6. Katie Kinsley

I haven’t had to buy a tick collar for my dog yet. I have been using Advantix multi pack and that seems to work well for him so far.

  7. Your dog is so cute! Growing up my dogs always had flea collars, but we use the drops on Toby now. They seem to work well too. Fleas and ticks are sure a pain!!

  8. Terri Beavers

Daisy is so beautiful. I’ve never seen a flea on my dog and neither has his vet. Not sure if it’s because there aren’t any other pets around or because I keep him indoors. If I ever do see one, I’ll check this product out.

I will have to try a Adams Flea & Tick Collar for my little guy this year. Ticks are getting so bad in our area I want to be sure he is protected.

  10. Pam

Fleas are such a problem in my area because it’s hot. If your pet gets outside where the wildlife is, they come back covered unless they are protected by something like this flea collar.

  11. We’ve never had a problem with mosquitoes. We do our best to battle fleas and ticks. It’s actually time to redo our dog now that warmer weather is here.

  12. Bella

Only the best care for our pups! Having fleas is never fun for the pet or owner so prevention is key.

  13. Dogvills

Daisy is so adorable! I need to check out this collar for my pups.

Adams has been a consistently used brand in our house for as long as I can remember. I love their products and how they make it easy for pet owners to cover more than one issue at once.

  15. Maurene Cab

Your little Daisy looks so adorable. I know how frustrating it is to have your furry friend infested with fleas.
