Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament Giveaway!

Untitled drawing

It is hard to sometimes find something that we can all do as a family and have everyone have a good time. Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is one of those places!

If you have not been here before (Medieval Times Chicago), the building is a castle.  You cannot miss it from the expressway.  After you get your tickets, you are assigned a color to root for. You get a crown that color.  As you can see, we were rooting for the red/yellow knight.  This also tells you where you are sitting once you get into the theater.  You will be called for seating by the color you are.  We’ve sat in several different places over the years (we’ve been here before), and I can honestly say that there isn’t a bad seat in the place.  This was our first time being in the front row, and it was pretty cool being that close!

The fun part of Medieval Times is that not only do you get dinner, you get a show!  There is setup for why the knights are fighting.  Also be warned, you are eating during the show without utensils. Yes, you eat with your fingers! The kids always seem to love that.  Also, all you food allergy people like me — there are options for you!  I was worried, but my waitress made 2 substitutions for me, and they are delicious.  They were more than willing to deal with my gluten allergy.  Our server was amazing.

Our knight won!  On the way out (and on the way in), there are several gift kiosks set up where you can get your kids outfits, swords, shields, stuffed dragons, etc. Anything that would remind you of the medieval times, you can find in the gift kiosks!  You can also order drinks from the bar in really good mugs and glasses.  There is something for everyone here.

We’ve been here before, and I can honestly say I’ve never seen the same show twice.  They have different shows which keeps my kids interest, amazing food, and great service.  I can only recommend checking out   Medieval Times if you are in the Chicago area.  You won’t be disappointed.

That is why I have arranged for one lucky reader to win 4 tickets to Medieval Times!  Here’s what you need to do:
