MeezMeals, Chicagoland’s premier home delivery meal kit service, announced an expanded weekly-rotating menu with new entrées and sides featuring locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients. Meez Meals delivers chopped, prepped and measured ingredients for beginners and experienced cooks to prepare and assemble home-cooked meals through step-by-step instructions in 20 to 40 minutes. Meez Meals delivers meal kits to the entire Chicagoland area. Meals come in servings sized for 2, 3, 4 or 8 people and are priced at $9 to $15 per serving for entrées and $7 to $10 for salads, snacks and sides. Delivery is free for all meal kits.
Meez Meals’ healthy and easy meal options are packed with vegetables, whole grains, fresh herbs and spices and can be tailored to customers’ specific dietary restrictions or requests. A “Health Snapshot” is provided for each recipe and Meez Meals also offers “Lighten up Tips” to prepare each recipe with 500 calories or less.
In the coming weeks Meez Meals will be offering over 60 different recipes, including:
- Toasted Gnocchi with Green Spring Vegetables: Asparagus, Whole Wheat Gnocchi, Edamame, Peas, Lemon and Parmesan Cheese Cream Sauce
- Salmon with Lemon and Asparagus:Premium Salmon, Asparagus, Fennel, Capers, Sunflower Seeds and White Wine Lemon Sauce
- Bangkok Basil Crunch Salad:Organic Tofu, Cabbage, Carrots, Sugar Snap Peas, Peanuts, Rice and Basil Peanut Crunch Dressing
- Balsamic Glazed Chicken Caprese Pasta: Cage-Free, All-Natural Chicken, Grape Tomatoes, Whole Wheat Penne Pasta, Fresh Mozzarella Cheese and Balsamic Glaze
- Mexican Steak Taco Bowl: Certified AngusSteak, Corn and Grape Tomato Salsa, Rice and Black Beans, Queso Fresco, topped with Crunchy Tortilla Chips
Doesn’t that all sound delicious? I got to try this service, and can I tell you how much I love it. One, it works with your food allergies. You can tell them to not include dairy or gluten or whatever you don’t like or are allergic to, and it gives you options for that. I didn’t want spicy foods, because my kids won’t eat that. There isn’t having to buy weird ingredients for one recipe anymore. Everything you need comes in your pack. You can order as many servings as you need too! Bill and I figured out its about the same cost as us taking the kids out to eat, but it is so much more healthy. Now, if you know my husband, he is penny pincher. He wants me to start ordering this once a week for our family. That’s how much value he finds in this! (And less grocery shopping and easy directions, I’m totally game for that!).

I wish they had these around where I live. They sound like some great meal kits. I think these would help out when you don’t really feel like cooking or have much time for it. Everything you’d have in the kit!

This sounds like an awesome service. I wish we had something similar. Sometimes, it’s hard to eat healthy when you have ball games, errands, ect in the evenings. This service would help with that problem too. 🙂

That’s such a cool way to try new recipes and learn to cook, especially if you have no idea how to get started. I would’ve loved to have this service available to me a few years ago. I’m sure I can still give it a try, too.
