Michael Hague's Treasury of Christmas Carols

Who doesn't love a book with a velvety cover?

Michael Hague's Treasury of Christmas Carols is a short collection of traditional Christmas carols illustrated with animal characters singing along with each other and preparing for the holiday. The collection includes “Jingle Bells,” “Deck the Halls,” “O Christmas Tree” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” The words to each song are laid out in large type on ivory pages with decorative, Christmas-themed borders. The illustrations are awe inspiring and truly turn the carols into stories. You could literally just spend your time looking at the pictures and not reading the words.  However, if you choose to read the words, it's hard not to sing along. My four year old and my 7 year old both like this book (and finding a book they both like with their different ages is usually next to impossible).  It is a really cute book.

Michael Hague's Treasury of Christmas Carols is a book that should be under your Christmas tree this year!

  1. This sounds like a great book that my grandson would enjoy. It would be a wonderful way to teach him about the holidays!
