Mother Goose Club

Did you know that early childhood research has shown that familiarity with nursery rhymes helps young children to read? When preschoolers read, recite, sing, or clap along to rhymes, they develop a feel for the sounds and structures of language (which is especially important for those of us who have kids in speech therapy!).

This is where Mother Goose Club comes in. This live action series features 40 minutes of uninterrupted nursery rhyme fun. There are six fun characters: Teddy Bear, Jack B Nimble, Little Bo Peep, Baa Baa Sheep, Mary Quite Contrary, and Eep Mouse. (Any of those names sound familiar to you?) Mother Goose rhymes also introduce characters, drama, simple story structure, and vocabulary words.

Will enjoyed the Nursery Rhyme Singing Time With Mother Goose Club DVD and Mother Goose Club Sings Nursery Rhymes Vol. 1 (aff) & Vol. 2 (aff) CD Pack. I love when he gets all excited, because he knows the nursery rhymes. Also, anything that can help his speech therapy in my book is a plus. My seven year old even likes the CDs, because she too knows the nursery rhymes. I love having both CDs, because the kids don't fight over them (especially on long car rides!).

Mother Goose Club was created by a mom and designed by educators — the best of both worlds!
