Munchies' Lunch Giveaway

My kids love playing computer games, so we recently tried out Munchies’ Lunch. It is a puzzle-adventure game that’s quick to learn, challenging, and intellectually stimulating. The neat thing about the game is that the main character is a mom too!

The game actually has a pretty cool back story. The game’s characters and their journey are inspired by a real life family’s escape from the conflict in Yugoslavia during the early 90’s. The producer wanted to show appreciation to his parents who during the time of great difficulty managed to exemplify courage, strength and unconditional love. He did that by making his own mom the game’s hero and by telling his family’s inspiring story.

The goal is to lead your family away from the dangerous Hungries who are invading your forest dwelling. You gather fruits for your kids as Mrs. Munchie and avoid fights with the devious creatures that will get in your way. The game is very easy to pick up. However, I have to admit it is quite addicting (though for me. Not so much Madison LOL). Bill and I have played this too and argued over what the best way to grab fruit (yes, we are slightly competitive). There are 100 levels to this game, so it will never get boring. As you progress through the game, you unlock new foods and items that give you new abilities. The further you get into the story, the weirder the creatures become too!

My whole family loves to play this game, so I have arranged for one of my lucky readers to get a copy for themselves! Here’s what you need to do:
