Since 1979 International Star Registry has been naming stars for people all over the world. The star names and their coordinates are permanently recorded in the book YOUR PLACE IN THE COSMOS to be registered at the Copyright Office of the United States of America. To date 9 volumes of this book have been published containing over 2 million star names. The Photographic Sky Chart is a collaborative effort between a team of German photographers and International Star Registry. The location of the named star is digitally indicated and circled when you buy a star.

If you have a somebody in your life that has everything, you can buy a star for them! This is truly the gift that keeps on giving and is something that they won't have! It is one of the most unique gifts you can give someone! The hardest thing about ordering this star was figuring out what we wanted to name our star! Besides that, the rest of it was pretty easy! We had the kids name our star for us. They picked the name Martin. We also got to pick a date, so we picked June 9th. That is my husband's and mine wedding anniversary. (It also happens to be my dad's birthday!). We thought it was only fitting to pick that date after the kids picked Martin.

In addition to the International Star Registry Custom Star Kit, we received the new Photographic Sky Chart custom framed in their 16” X 20” Black frame. This is their newest item with their favorite framing option.

My kids thought this was the coolest thing ever! This is one of those things that you can't put a price tag on. It has been a talking point in our home. People see this hanging on our wall, and they always ask about it! Flowers, cards, and candy are nice; when you name a star for a loved one, your gift will stand the test of time.

Since this is such a cool gift, I have arranged for two of my lucky readers to win their own Photographic Sky Chart! Here's what you need to do:

Who would you give this to? What date would you celebrate?

I would name one after the strongest woman I know…my mother. In 1999, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and she is now bed-ridden. She has been through many ups and more downs than anyone I know, but she still manages to brighten the room with her smile and love me and my little brother to the ends of the earth. I hope someday to be half the mother she has been to me and inspire my children like she has inspired me!

I wasn’t sure if you wanted the comment in the widget or on the page so I’m doing both. Id like to win for my middle son because he loves all thing space and would really appreciate this gift. I like the Santa suit design and the midnight celebration Jamberry designs.
