In animated 3D, The Nut Job is an action-packed comedy in fictional Oakton that follows the travails of Surly (voiced by Will Arnett), a mischievous squirrel, and his rat friend Buddy, who plan a nut store heist of outrageous proportions and unwittingly find themselves embroiled in a much more complicated and hilarious adventure.

I was able to view this film last weekend, and my kids loved this film. When I asked Will (my 6 year old) what his favorite part was, both my kids yelled “all of it”. I mean, seriously, who isn't going to love a film about squirrels (if you follow me regularly, you'll know last Christmas a wonderful squirrel decided to climb into our attic and then get stuck. He didn't want to leave, and we had to pay for a guy to come in and catch him and remove him. I do wonder if it was Surly, because once they caught him, as soon as they got the cage outside, the squirrel escaped!). I loved that the film really touched on some adult themes (the raccoon says something that I thought was truly directed at how the adult world is really run. I hate to give spoilers, but you'll know what statement I'm talking about — it has something to do with food and power. It's a situation we are seeing in the middle east right now). Best of all for me was that I didn't even realize Liam Neilson was the raccoon during the movie! I love getting so lost in an animated film that I forget who the actors are. I can tell you that this is a great family film to go see.

That being said, I want you all to get totally excited that this movie opening TODAY (Jan. 17th) that I have arranged for 2 lucky readers to win a The Nut Job prize pack! Here's what you have to do:
