Paris Goes to Los Angeles

I am always on the lookout for books for Madison especially now since she has to read 90 minutes a week for her reading grade. I am looking for books that are both grade level and interesting. The series of My Friend Parents meet that bill.

In her third travel related book called Paris Goes To Los Angeles, Paris and her sister explore Southern California while attending a family event with her cousins. Their adventures include visiting the Santa Monica Pier, San Diego, Hollywood and Hearst Castle. This book definitely makes you want to go visit Los Angeles! We have friends in California, so this brings it a little closer to my daughter. The book is a short and easy read, so it definitely great for Madison's age group. I also love the illustrations — they are very engaging and help tell the story.

If you are looking for a great travel book for kids, this is it!
