Pledge

This contest is now closed.  The winner is Cheryl F!

Did you know that 90% of American homes maintain a household conductive to allergies? Did you know that 2 in 5 adults admit they have never checked their home for mold or other household allergens? Crazy, isn't it? As a person who is allergic to life itself (and I've been tested — I really am — I am allergic to everything from dust to cockroaches), I need all the help I can get in my house.

A product I have been using for years is Pledge. I use it for several reasons. First of all, it works. Did you know Pledge removes up to 84% of dangerous household allergens found in dust? This is why it works so well. Their anti dust formula removes dust, dirt, smudges, and common allergens found in dust such as pet dander and pollen. I personally love that I get to dust less. With two kids, 5 blogs, and a part time job, I don't have time to mess around. Another thing that I love about Pledge is that when (aff) you use it, you don't have a ton of dust flying around in the air (which is the worst for my allergies).

Now, since I love my Pledge Natural Beauty Furniture Polish so much I'd love to give one away to one of you. Here's what you need to do:

Each of these gives you one entry:

  1. I learned that the parent company, SC Johnson, is philanthropic. here's a quote from their company page: " From exceptional philanthropy and volunteerism to new business models that bring economic growth to the world's poorest communities, we're helping to create stronger communities for families around the globe."

  2. Great post and love the blog.

I can't get to Stumbleupon, Twitter etc from work but will try and sign up from home tonight.

I have been using Pledge for years, in fact my Mum used to use it when I was growing up. The only complaint I have is that when I use it on the desk I put the laptop on, the laptop slides around 🙂 Easily fixable though…

  3. i learned that you can trust that the raw materials have been evaluated for health, safety and environmental impact through our Greenlis process

  4. I like that SC Johnson has a social conscience. To quote:
"SC Johnson companies partner with neighbors locally and globally to improve the economic, environmental and social well-being of the world."
    Thank you!

  5. I learned, Pledge® polish and Pledge® Wipes contain gentle cleansing conditioners to help you loosen and gently remove fingerprints, smudges, and dirt.

    Thank you!

  6. In the 1990s, SC Johnson helped lead a recycling coalition for North America, causing communities to recapture more than five billion pounds of waste cans and aerosol containers.

  7. Works great with different styles, you can use sprays or clothes – find what suits you. The best part Works Wonderful, I have used for many years. Thanks for the entry.

  8. I'm with you, Lisa, I am allergic to EVERYTHING and have also used Pledge forever. Sometimes I think Pledge was actually lying in the cradle next to me…I just always remember that lemon smell around. My mom always used it so when it was time to start cleaning my house, of course, I started using it to. It works–so why change, right??

Anyway, what I learned from the Pledge site was something that will make your skin feel a bit creepy and crawly next time you haven't dusted in a while…
More than 40,000 dust mites can be found in an ounce of dust.

    YIKES!!! 😯

Thanks for another great review and giveaway.

  9. Automobile

Pledge® can be used for a quick cleaning and shining of your car’s exterior. You can also spray a cloth or rag with Pledge® to clean the dirt and grime from the outside wall of your car tires.

  14. i learned that pet dander can remain in a home for up to 6 months after the pet is gone, wow my family has bad allergies and we always thought that vacumming and dusting even with a pet currenetly living in the home was getting rid of the dander!
