Princess and the Popstar Giveaway

Will is a huge Veggie Tales fan, so I happily jumped at the chance to review their newest movie: Princess and the PopStar.  A quick synopsis of the movie:

Princess Poppyseed’s life on her family’s farm is far from the glamorous but lonely world of her favorite pop singer Vanna Banana. On a chance meeting at a playground, Vanna and Princess cross paths and realize that they look almost exactly alike—which leads to the crazy secret plan where they decide to switch lives! As each girl realizes that the life they longed for doesn’t fulfill all of their dreams, they learn that the life God gave them is the one for which they were uniquely and lovingly designed.

What I like most about this movie is that adults can a learn a thing or two.  The grass isn’t always greener elsewhere, and I think we all sometimes forget that.  It also includes the regular VeggieTales humor (which always makes me giggle).  It’s great that we can all sit down as a family and watch this together!

    Vanna Banana for me! When I was a kid I used to pretend I was a famous pop singer even though I have a lousy singing voice. 🙂
