Princess and the Popstar Giveaway

This giveaway is now over. The winner is Tawnya S. Congrats!

Will is a huge Veggie Tales fan, so I happily jumped at the chance to review their newest movie: Princess and the PopStar.  A quick synopsis of the movie:

Princess Poppyseed’s life on her family’s farm is far from the glamorous but lonely world of her favorite pop singer Vanna Banana. On a chance meeting at a playground, Vanna and Princess cross paths and realize that they look almost exactly alike—which leads to the crazy secret plan where they decide to switch lives! As each girl realizes that the life they longed for doesn’t fulfill all of their dreams, they learn that the life God gave them is the one for which they were uniquely and lovingly designed.

What I like most about this movie is that adults can a learn a thing or two.  The grass isn’t always greener elsewhere, and I think we all sometimes forget that.  It also includes the regular VeggieTales humor (which always makes me giggle).  It’s great that we can all sit down as a family and watch this together!

Here are the DVD’s Bonus Features:

Audio Commentary
“Astonishing Wigs” Silly Songs Sing-Along
“Right Where You Belong” Sing-Along
Behind the music with Francesca Battistelli and Friends
Princess Poppyseed’s Points For Being Uniquely You

And a quick sneak preview too:

Now, because we love this movie so much, I’ve arranged for one lucky reader to get their own copy of Princes and the Popstar. Here’s what you need to do:

Leave in the comments which character you’d like to be! Is it Princess Poppyseed’s life on the farm that appeals to you? Or would you much rather lead the life of Vanna Banana, the lonely pop singer?

  1. I would have to say Princess Poppyseed although neither really appeal to me, but I definitely would not want to be a popstar.

  2. Firstly, thank you for hosting this giveaway we are HUGE Veggie Tales fans. Second, please can I enter in the UK.
Now, I think I'm probably more of a Madame Blueberry, but I aspire to be Esther!

  3. Vanna Banana for me! When I was a kid I used to pretend I was a famous pop singer even though I have a lousy singing voice. 🙂
