As many of you know, I am allergic to life. Between my food allergies and my environmental ones, I'm pretty much allergic to everything that brings me joy and happiness (and some not so much like cockroaches. That was one allergy I didn't need to know anything about!). That being said, I try to mitigate some of the things I am allergic to. Plus, I own a very old house (well, it is over 80 years old so that is pretty old in my book!) and that alone contains some of its own smells.

We are the ones who installed a new fan in the bathroom that not only has a light but also has a Bluetooth speaker. Yes, we are those geeks (and yes, that little purchase was worth every cent. What can I say? I like singing in the shower!).
TheHolmes® Smart Air Purifier with WeMo technology offers users pride in having total control over their home and family environment. This True HEPA air purifier provides consumers with a home environment optimized to meet their family’s needs without the nuisance of having to monitor and manage it all. There are programmable options to be high speed when the children are at school and low speed when the family is sleeping at night. This wirelessly connected device notifies consumers when air quality is poor so that the unit can be turned on and also notifies consumers when it is time to change their filters. An air quality sensor automatically adjusts speeds when indoor air quality is poor. If you live in Chicago, you will know that it seriously is the worst for allergy suffers this year. Why do I love my Holmes® Smart Air Purifier? I can't list all the many ways. First, I can control it with my iPhone (or any smartphone that has the app). Seriously, I don't even have to be home to turn this baby on and make adjustments! As a family who travels a lot (especially during the summer), my house will no longer have that “stale” smell when we get home after having closed the house up. I also love that it tells me when I need to change the filter. I can't remember when to change filters on anything ever. I definitely need hand holding when it comes to filters! The true HEPA filtration removes up to 99.97% of airborne allergens including pollen, dust, dust mite debris, mold spores, pet dander and smoke/odor. You've got allergies? This right here is why you need this. It is so easy to use and is ready to use right out of the box.

Ohhh, I need one of these upstairs! I have an air purifier in the downstairs that works pretty well, but it just doesn’t do much for upstairs…well.. yeah… of course. So I for sure would love this for up there. Though maybe I’d need one for each bedroom? The downstairs is a bit more open and upstairs is four bedrooms, a bathroom, and then the hallway/landingish area… so.. yeah, probably need one in each bedroom. I’m sure this would be extremely helpful in my oldest girls’ bedroom, my 11 year old suffers a bit from allergies!
Oh wow what I’m most amazed about is the app. It’s too easy to order new filters without the hassle!
I don’t have an air purifier, but I’d love to have one! How cool that you can control it from your iPhone. I didn’t even know that you could buy a bathroom fan with a Bluetooth speaker included. That’s amazing!
We have forced hot air heat, so our house is super dusty! I need something like this to help clear the air.
Technology just keeps making our lives easier. Controlling it from the iPhone app is the feature that I love most about this air purifier – it’s something new and at the same time, it’s a feature that is very convenient.
I used to have a lot of allergies also. After lots and lots of cleansing, I am doing much, much better. But still, purifing the air is a very good thing. There are molds and fungus everywhere in our homes.
Oh wow, that app is really neat- definitely makes things easier! We have been looking into getting an air purifier- I’ll have to check this one out!
I do not have one, but I would love one! We have lots of pets. Though we don’t have pet allergies, it would be nice to get the dander out of the air.

This looks like a great air purifier. We live in Georgia, so there’s no shortage of pollen floating around in the air. When you add in our dog, I think we could definitely use this.
We really need an air purifier here too. Our house is on the new side, and it’s actually still off-gassing. When we come home from a weekend away, it hits you right between the eyes. I love that they have an app to make ordering filters easier too!
We have allergies and use an air purifier. When ours goes out we are switching to a HOlmes.
I couldn’t imagine being without an air purifier with my bad allergies. I like that you can make adjustments with this air purifier via an iPhone.
This air purifier sounds amazing! We need a new one, ours is now dead. My allergies are not terrible but they have been acting up more this year. I will keep this name in mind when we are ready for a new one.

This would be awesome in my son’s apartment. He has the worst allergies in the late summer and early fall.
This would be perfect for people in my family who have asthma, it really helps them a lot! I will look into this more, sounds like a great product.

I use an air purifier in my kitchen and one in my toddler’s room because of her severe allergies and another in my living room. I want as much clean air as I can and thinking of getting more for the other rooms.

You can control it with your iPhone? Now that is absolutely cool! We have an air purifier here too, but I’ve been sneezing since a couple of days ago. The pollen is just awful.

I am laughing so hard at “I am allergic to life.” We have an air filter too but it’s not as fancy as this one. We have three dogs and four cats so a quality air filter is an absolute must in our house, or the pet dander gets outrageous!

We could use one of these for our whole house, between my wife and our two year old, spring in farm country does a number on them. Seems it would work best in a room with the doors closed though, since it can only purify what goes through it.
I think this is something we need at home to remove the smell and purify the air for our baby.
i could use something like this at home. my neighbor is smoking + i really hate it when the smoke + pollution reach our home. i worry that my little one will get sick because of inhaling second-hand smoke! 🙁
What an awesome little gadget! With our 5-cat household, we could seriously use a good air purifier.
