Muppets Most Wanted

Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid, Dublin and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit the Frog—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais. The film stars Tina Fey as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Ty Burrell as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon. Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” is directed by James Bobin and produced by David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman. Bobin wrote the screenplay with Nicholas Stoller, who is also executive producer with John G. Scotti.

Pete’s Dragon

Pete’s Dragon is a reimagining of Disney’s beloved family film. It tells the story of an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend, Elliot, who is a dragon. The movie will be available on November 29 on Digital HD, Blu-ray™, Disney Movies Anywhere, DVD, and On-Demand.

This magical movie will enchant families. It features never-before-seen bonus content, including a look at director David Lowery’s diary from filming. You’ll also see the design process behind the lovable dragon Elliot, deleted scenes, a tour of the film’s breathtaking New Zealand location, audio commentary from filmmakers and actors, and hilarious bloopers. My kids hadn’t seen the original movie, so this was a fresh experience for them—and they loved it!

Pete’s Dragon stars Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World) as Grace, a forest ranger in the Pacific Northwest. She discovers 10-year-old Pete, played by Oakes Fegley (This is Where I Leave You). Oona Laurence (Southpaw) plays Natalie, the 11-year-old daughter of Jack, a lumber mill owner played by Wes Bentley (The Hunger Games). Karl Urban (Star Trek) is Jack’s bumbling brother, Gavin. Oscar®-winner Robert Redford (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) portrays Mr. Meacham, an old woodcarver who entertains local children with tales of a fierce dragon.

Ralph and Vanellope feel overwhelmed by the Internet. They turn to its citizens, the Netizens, for help. One of them is Yesss, voiced by Taraji P. Henson. She is a website entrepreneur and the head algorithm of the trendy site “BuzzzTube.”

Here’s the new sneak peek! It introduces Gal Gadot (“Wonder Woman”) as Shank’s voice. She is a tough and talented driver in an intense online game called Slaughter Race. The sneak peek also includes new footage of the Disney princesses and more!

The Jungle Book

Directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man) and inspired by both Rudyard Kipling’s classic tales and Disney’s beloved animated film, The Jungle Book is a thrilling live-action adventure that reimagines the timeless story for a new generation. Newcomer Neel Sethi stars as Mowgli, a young boy raised by a family of wolves in the heart of the jungle. But when the fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voiced by Idris Elba), scarred by Man and determined to eliminate any threat, targets Mowgli, the man-cub must leave the only home he’s ever known.

The Secret Life Of Pets

The Secret Life of Pets is a comedy about what pets do when their owners are away. Max, a loyal terrier voiced by Louis C.K., lives a happy life. His world changes when his owner, Katie, adopts Duke, a big mutt from the shelter. Max and Duke escape their dog-walker and get lost in New York City. To avoid animal control and a gang of abandoned pets led by Snowball, a wild bunny voiced by Kevin Hart, they must work together to find their way home.

This movie is hilarious. When we saw the previews, I hoped the movie would be just as good—and it was! Bill and I laughed just as much as the kids. I love it when a movie is fantastic for all generations watching.
