As you all know, I have lost a lot of weight (64 lbs!), so I have to clothes. Since I am still losing weight, I am having to buy new clothes on a semi-regular basis. That can get super expensive. That is why I was excited to be invited to the Grand Opening of Ross in Niles, IL. For me, it was a bit of a drive, but I found out that I had 2 Ross stores a lot closer to me in Orland and in Darien!
I started  my morning learning all about Ross and why they do what they do.  We learned that I saw in the Niles store was pretty much the setup in all of their stores.
I love that they had seasonal goods and even household goods. I went in assuming I’d only get great deals on clothes. Instead, I was happily surprised. I learned that many of their stores are customized to their area. If a store if finding they are selling a lot of say pet supplies, they will expand that in that local store.
As for clothes, LOVE! I loved how organized the store was. It was super easy to find what I needed. The first thing I tried on, it fit! Score! And it’s cute. Double Score!
I had a mission for my Ross shopping trip. I was getting new clothes for ME! Not my kids – for me! As hard as it was, I accomplished my task! For a little over $50 (damn you IL sales tax!), I got not one but 2 outfits! Seriously, two nice outfits for $50 is pretty darn awesome. Since I don’t have a winter coat that’s not huge on me, I’m talking my husband into taking me back to get a new winter coat! (Yes, I looked at a few while there, but I needed the pants and tops more. LOL).
