Nothing’s scarier than realizing your camera didn’t quite capture that perfect moment like you thought it had. That's where Portrait Innovations steps in and takes away all the stress that comes with trying to take holiday pictures.

My family and I headed out last Saturday to get our family pictures done. I'll be honest – I tend to forget to do family pictures, but what a perfect time to do it! Heading into the holiday season, I didn't know what to expect when we got there.

The first thing I noticed was that while they were busy, they weren't overwhelmed. Instead, I would call their operation a well oiled machine. Each worker helped each other out (if somebody came in to get their prints, whoever was at the desk grabbed them; if somebody walked in, who ever wasn't doing something ran to the desk to check them in, etc.). It was really impressive to watch. The environment felt relaxed verses stressed out which I think reflects in everyone's pictures.

Kelsey was the manager and our photograph. She was absolutely amazing. She took between 60-80 photos, but seriously, it didn't feel like that. I couldn't believe how fast our sitting went. She dealt with my tween and teen really well too. Will had fallen asleep on the way there and really didn't want to cooperate. Kelsey got both of them out of their shell, and made Will laugh the entire time (by telling him not to laugh which made him laugh harder).

With different studios, they are able to take different photos. You can easily do holiday photos in the “christmas” studio. You even can do a photo with you handing Santa cookies and milk!

They have a second studio that you can take senior pictures or just any other photos you want.

After all your photos are taken, you go over to one of the desks and you get to see all of your photos. Seriously, this is the fun part. They take 3 (aff) photos of each post you do. The first thing you do is go through and pick which photo out of each 3 (aff) you like the best. This takes care of blinking eyes and silly smiles. Once you've gone through all of that, it's time to start picking your package. There are sooooooooo many package choices. Best of all, I never felt pressured to pick any one of them. Kelsey went through and told me what I got with each one. I loved that you can taylor the pictures to what you need. My mom likes 5×7's so I was easily able to get an 8×10 family picture and a 5×7 for her without getting stuck with a bunch of extras I don't want or need. It definitely most cost efficient to buy a package. Plus, some of the packages give you full rights to the photos. You get a CD with all the photos that you can do whatever you want with. I absolutely love that!

How cool right? Their NEW Holiday Set is here too! Capture Holiday memories with the 42 Portrait Holiday Special only $29.99 (Reg $37.49) with 20% coupon. PLUS, a free gift of your choice: 16×20 Gallery Canvas ~OR~ 11oz Mug and 2 (aff) Ornaments, perfect for Holiday gift giving. The 42 Portrait Special includes: 1-10×13, 2 (aff)-8x10s, 4-5x7s, 4-3x5s, 16-2x3s, 5-5×7 Cards, 10 Portrait Gift Tags.

Portrait Innovations has picture taking down to a science. I would definitely return and highly recommend them!
