love the new layout, as for the baby problem, at his age, I think you are doing the right thing, just let him make his own schedule for a while, reflux is no fun, it might feel better for him to only eat a little each time, but I know it is hard on you 🙁 Maybe ask the Doc next visit if he should be on a diff formula. Good luck!
It's breastmilk, so it isn't like I can change it. LOL Unless we put him on formula.
It is just really hard to get anything done. I am dying for a shower right now, but he doesn't stay sleeping long enough!
This too shall pass, believe me. 🙂 One thing a nurse told me waaaay back when my first child was born is that a baby will never starve him/herself, and if they fall asleep, let them sleep. His inner clock will eventually regulate itself. Until then, I'm afraid showers are at a premium. It won't last that long, though. In fact, as sleep-deprived as you are, try to cherish every moment, as it all goes by so fast!
I think you're doing the right thing by letting him eat how much he wants when he wants to.
I figure as long as he is eating we should be fine. It is just frustrating to a point. However, maybe this has something to do with his reflux. maybe not. That's the tough thing about kids. They can't tell you.
New reader (through Electric Venom)…
Sounds like a growth spurt in the making. If he's taking in more overall, he's just adjusting to the need for more food with his reflux. They're small but pretty savvy. 🙂 Unfortunately with four smarties of my own – I'm in trouble.
Great blog. I'll be back.
I've been trying to figure out if he is taking in more or not. I'm just to tired to figure it out. LOL
