As many of you know, I live in an old house. By old, I mean like over 80 years old. We have some newer features, but we also have some older ones. You can that improvements have been made along the way. We have even made some of those improvements. That being said, the ceiling fan in my bedroom was here when we bought the house. It works great. However, we have no remote for it. That means if you want to turn the light on or turn on the fan, you have to get out of bed. That fan is also the only light in the room, so it's pretty dark.

SIMPLEconnect has been a great answer for us, so we don't have to get out of bed to turn the light on or off or turn on the fan. It puts the latest technology to work for you in order to control most major brands of pull-chain fans. For example, setting a fan to turn on when you return from work so you always step into a comfortable, refreshed home. You also have the ability to set your fan’s lights to turn on and off to help ward off potential intruders while miles away on vacation!

You can see in my first picture Bill installing our SIMPLEconnect. It literally took him about 5 minutes to get the receiver set in the fan. (It took my longer to find the screw he dropped than installing the SIMPLEconnect. Once in there, you put the fan back up and you don't even see the receiver! You just have a great remote you can use (or you can use the app).
