Skunked
My family loves playing games. That is why we jumped at the chance to try out Skunked. Even though the game looks pretty small, it's a lot of fun!
The game works like this:
1. You roll the dice. Add the dice together. Now, your end goal is to NOT get any ones. If you get a 1, you lose your points for that round. If you roll double 1s, you lose your points for the game!!!!
2 (aff). You now have to choose if you want to roll again. There is a risk here.
3 (aff). You win when your score hits your predetermined number (like 100).
It's pretty easy. However, there will be a lot of yelling at those dice once you start playing it. It does say this is for 8 and up. However, Madison, my 7 year old, had no problems playing. My 3 (aff) year old just liked playing with the dice. However, the really nice thing is that we were able to work on counting and adding with both of them (I count that as an added benefit). Since the game is so simple, you can easily modify it for any age group and make it easier and harder if you like. I love that the game is pretty self contained too, and I can easily throw it into my purse to take somewhere.
