Slice: Home & Office Products

You may have read my other Slice reviews on Beauty Tools and Kitchen items. This Slice review will be about the home (aff) and office products they offer (yes, they really do have every facet of your life covered!).

The Safety Cutter is the most versatile tool you'll ever own. It has a finger-friendly microscopic ceramic blade that's quick, easy and a safe substitute for scissors. Can I tell you how much I love this? It is perfect for scrap-booking, clipping recipes, coupons and news articles, removing shrink-wrap, opening CDs, DVDs, and plastic packaging, and more. Includes a built-in magnet and key-ring hole. The ceramic blade lasts longer than steel and stays sharp and never rusts. Both left- and right-handers can use it too (which is very important since Bill is a lefty!). I love that I can leave this out, and I don't have to worry about the kids with it. I also feel safe letting them use this on the tape of the many boxes I got for review items. We've tried this on several different items, and we have yet to find something it doesn't work on! The Safety Cutter is a must have in all homes!

The Precision Cutter is another awesome slice product. It features a high-tech Zirconium Oxide blade that lasts longer than steel and never rusts. It is safer than craft knives, and another product that I can leave out with my kids. I don't have to worry about them cutting off their fingers with this. This too can be used by left- and right-handers! Also, I am the Box Top Coordinator for my daughter's school, and this works awesome for trimming down the boxtops that come in. It also works great for items that are rounded and weird shaped. You can easily cut them out now!

I'm always looking for ways to open my letters better. I hate the paper cuts you get when you use your fingers. I also hate how some letter openers completely mangle the envelope, and I don't like keeping anything in the house that the kids can use as a weapon. However, slice has this awesomeLetter Opener. The recessed high-tech Zirconium Oxide ceramic blade cuts only the envelope, not your hand (or anything else). It also features a built-in magnet for easy storage. I love anything that makes it easier for me not to lose!!! It is so easy to use that both my kids can do it, and I don't have to worry about any missing digits!

When you live with a lefty, there are just some things he can't do. Like use a scissors without me feeling the need to help him. That is why slice's new scissors is so awesome. It is comfortable for both lefties and righties to use, and it still works extremely well. It is made with Japanese stainless steel, has sharp powerful blades, and has a lay flat design. It is awesome pair of scissors that don't take up a bunch of room no matter where you store them!

Lastly, we got to try out the box cutters. Now, as a review blogger, I get a ton of boxes that I got to use this on! The patent-pending handle on this box cutter features a non-slip, easy-hold finish. It protects your hand by wrapping around your fist, while the housing limits the amount of exposed ceramic-blade to further reduce injuries. The high-tech double-sided blade is designed to reduce injuries by incorporating a safe rounded-tip with a sharpness level that lasts 10x longer than steel. The blade is also fully retractable and adjustable length. Most importantly, it works really well.

Can I just say that I love all of the slice products I've gotten the opportunity to try out? I have yet to find one that doesn't look good and work even better. I can only highly recommend all of their products!
