As you all may remember, I live in Chicago where everybody drives like they are crazy. Seriously. LOL What doesn't help is that I normally have a lead foot too, so I often times find myself going over the speed limit without even trying too just by keeping up with traffic. Especially during the season we like to call construction season (aka summer), this can be very bad and very expensive if you get a ticket. That's where New Uniden R7 Radar Detector comes in handy!

The New Uniden R7 Radar Detector helps you monitor your speed with voice activation. There's no need to look down and be distracted. You will be able to hear when you exceed the preset speed without taking your eyes off the road. This will enable you to maintain a safe driving speed. If you are the passenger, you can enjoy the color OLED display with easy to see information. It does have radar detection, so it will tell you directionally where a radar signal is originating from and has K-Filter and Ka-Filter to filter noise from the K and Ka bands to prevent false detections.

How do you keep yourself from speeding?

I totally forgot about these! When I was a kid my brother had one in his car. This is definitely a good reminder to slow down and just enjoy your drive.

I need this! Sometimes I find I’m going much faster than I thought. It just happens sometimes!

I just found the perfect Father’s Day gift! My hubby has a lead foot and having a voice activated reminder (other than my voice which he ignores – lol), would be very beneficial. He sure doesn’t need another speeding ticket.

  4. I do not speed often but it seems like I always get caught when I do. I did not know these were still available it seems like a no-brainer to get one.

I didn’t know they made radars anymore. I use to use them when I traveled a lot going back and forth from school. Loved them.

This is such a great product – I love how it reminds you when you are going to fast. It happens all too often without meaning to.

I have a lead foot and I’ve gotten a few speeding tickets in the past. This would be a worthwhile investment.

I like this. I know at times I’m speeding and it would help me know that I was without seeming surprised by it every single time.
