As you all know, I am a work at home (aff) mom. My blog and social media accounts are my job which also means my income is never the same from week to week and from month to month. I have some things that pay net 30 some that pay net 60 and some that pay net 120 days! This crazy pay schedule makes it hard to financial plan sometimes.
Like everyone else, we have some financial goals and lots of questions. In no particular order,
- How do we pay for Catholic High School? We currently pay for Catholic elementary school for both kids, but high school tuition is a lot more!
- Do we save for college or do we save for our retirement?
- Do we take a vacation every year? Every other year?
Like everyone else, we struggle to find the right answers to our questions. I know you all may not pay tuition, but we all have to worry about retirement. One of the ways we have recently shored up our financial reserves and had help figuring out what we need to do is talk to SUM180. They had a super easy questionnaire to fill out online (no having to go anywhere and you can save it so you can start and stop anytime you want), and they give you a financial plan to work towards. For example, we need to get more money in our emergency fund. It isn't quite as high as it should be. The other nice thing is that it told us what we were doing right. (Amazingly, we are doing some things right!) “As a special offer, my readers can get 50% off a SUM180 subscription when you use the exclusive promo code SIMPLE50. This offer is good through December 2016.
The hard thing about financial planning is that every one of our situations and circumstances is so very different. You can't read an article on the internet and say that will solve all my financial questions. That's why SUM18o is so helpful, because they look at your numbers and your specific circumstances.
What financial questions do you have? How would SUM18o help you?

Financial Planning is something that I have working to make sure I do, living on a limited income you can’t always buy what you want, but as long as I can get the things I need then I know I am okay.
My kids have always been in parochial school as well. Sometimes you just have to move things around to make it all work. Money ebbs and flows sometimes for us SMMoms.
SUM 180 sounds like a great way to help figure out your financial future. It is so important when we are younger to prepare for the future. This is something I am going to have to check out. Thanks for sharing your experience and the discount.
I consider myself blessed to have been able to send my kids to catholic schools, from elementary to college. It was tough and there were a lot of sacrifices made. Now we are planning for retirement and SUM180 would probably be the best resource we could get to prepare us for those “golden years”
