With school starting this week for my kids, it is time to get some school shoes for the kids. With Madison’s feet as big as mine, shoe shopping has definitely gotten more interesting.

We went to Famous Footwear to get Madison’s gym shoes for school. Since my kids wear uniforms, we have a very strict set of rules we have to abide by. For gym, her shoes need to be all white or all black. This is a lot harder to find than I thought. However, Famous Footwear had a Reebok shoe that fit the bill. My only complaint is that they only had this one Reebok shoe in the store. It did fit what I need, but I know they have lots of pretty ones online. I was slightly disappointed that I couldn’t see them in the store. They also didn’t have the size we needed, so I ended up having to order her new gym shoes online. However, they have made ordering online really easy.

I totally loved how I could size her feet at home for her new Reebok shoes. I just printed off this chart so we could both size our feet.

While shopping, I got myself a pair of shoes too.  All black matches everything and then she can borrow them for school if we can’t find her gym shoes one morning (yes, this happens more than I’d like to admit). I also picked her up a pair of dress shoes that she also needed.

Can you believe that I was able to get 3 pairs of shoes for a little over $100??!!?? Awesome, I know!!! I loved saving over $50!
