I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Sprint. I received a Sprint device to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
What do you use your phone for? Nowadays, phones can really do it all. How many of you use your phone to send messages, take photos, provide cool apps and connect us with loved ones? I know I am one of those people! That’s why I knew I had to tell you about Sprint‘s LG G4 smartphone!
The LG G4 is the next generation G series smartphone from LG that takes selfies to a new level of fun with two cameras to make it easier than ever to capture the most exciting moments of your life! What can I tell you about the camera? It has f/1.8 aperture for impressive performance in low light situations. The manual mode has 15 settings and over 135 options for photo enthusiast level control over how photos are captured. You can get every picture you want without having to worry. There is an improved Laser Auto Focus so you’re always ready to capture the moment and have it be perfect. You can’t go wrong with the 16MP rear facing camera and an 8MP front facing camera for high quality photos and selfies. The improved Optical Image Stabilization also steadies the shot for sharp, focused images. This camera captures RAW image files for the highest possible image quality! Most importantly, it is an affordable family phone. With Sprint Lease, the device is $18 per month for 24 months and with a Sprint Family Share Pack plan, a family of 4 can share 20GB of data and get unlimited talk and text for only $100 per month! I know I am always concerned with how good the photos are (being a blogger and all). Here are a few photos I took around my yard!
I love how great all these pictures turned out! I also love how this phone work with the free Sprint Drive First app. This sends calls to voicemail and silences email and text alerts when a vehicle reaches 10mph. Newly updated features include ‘personal feedback’ and ‘parenting mode’ which help track miles driven, and lock or enable certain apps. It is an app that I think a lot of people of the road can use!
Texting and driving is one of the most dangerous distracted driving actions. When texting, a driver spends approximately 10% of their driving time outside of their lane. Unsurprisingly, texting drivers are 23 times more likely to get involved in a crash. The biggest problem: 40% of American teens still report texting and driving behavior! DoSomething.org, one of the largest organizations for young people and social change, and Sprint are taking a unique approach to prevent young people from texting and driving through a campaign called Thumb Wars. Now in its fifth year, Thumb Wars encourages young people to use the power of their thumbs in a fun and engaging way to prevent their friends from texting and driving. Here’s how it works:
- Sign up at ThumbWars.org and receive two pairs of yellow anti-texting thumb socks.
- Pick a friend or loved one they know who texts and drives and share the socks with them in a surprising way.
- Snap a pic of themselves and their friend wearing the thumb socks and send it back to DoSomething.org
- You can also share important texting-and-driving stats (available on ThumbWars.org) to educate their friends.
I love how Sprint is working together with both of these companies with the LG G4 phone. Let’s talk about a few more of the great features it has like the cutting edge 5.5” IPS Quantum Display for an outstanding visual experience. It also has a 25% brighter display for an enhanced viewing experience in various lighting conditions and 50% improvement in contrast for richer images. The quad HD resolution with 538 PPI is also amazing for incredible detail.
What do you look for in your smartphone?
I am going to be looking for a Smartphone soon. I am looking for a good camera phone and a reliable network. Thanks for sharing the LG G4.
I really am amazed at some of the photos that phones can take these days! I am an avid user of my “real” camera, but am bringing it along less and less and opting for my cell phone camera as well.
This looks like a great phone! Photos are important for me but even more so is the ability to quickly and easily find what I’m looking for. I use my phone GPS pretty much daily as well so I need that to be reliable.
I literally only care about my camera when it comes to my phone. I never take my camera with me all over the place so I love having a good decent camera on my phone!
That sounds like an awesome phone. I would definitely consider one when my current contract is up.
Just love the pictures that you took. Sounds like a great deal and phone.
I like my Samsung smartphones. I have two of them. They seem to out last any other phones I have tried. Service sucks with many services in my area. Not sure why.
I like Sprint. They have always had good customer service and great plans. But I feel the need to stick to my Apple just because everything we have is pretty much linked together. They catch you that way, don’t they?
I hear about so many accidents on the road from texting some resulting in death. It takes discipline to stay off the phone while on the road.
I wish my phone took photos that nice! I don’t even bother trying to use my phone for pictures because they are so terrible.
I saw the commercial and thought the phone was sleek. I like the leather combo … I would love to give this a try and see how it compares to samsung & i-phone
My smart phone needs a great camera and lots of storage. Looks like a great plan.
I love how amazing cameras are nowadays on smart phones. Sometimes you really can’t tell it was taken on a phone.
I am a terrible example when it comes to texting and driving. I need to work on this. The photos look great and we love Sprints service too
I never text and drive . In fact, I don’t ride as a passenger when a person is usibg their phone while driving.
I don’t have a smart phone. I think I’ll get one when things settle down though. I’m overdue.
I never text and drive and will not ride with anyone who is texting and driving. It’s so dangerous, not only to yourself but to other drivers on the road. It’s just plain stupid.
Love the quality of the photos with your new phone!
I’m in the market for a new phone. I heave so much about this one and I love the resolution. I will check this out.
Wow! I have to get this phone for my wife. Her phone doesn’t take very good pictures. So this is great!
When it comes to a smartphone, I always go for the trusted brand. And since I love using my cellphone in taking photos, I want the cellphone camera to be really great. Those photos you’ve taken using the phone are really nice.
Sound like a great phone! Mine is terrible, I need to get a new one soon …. This one looks like a great option. Perhaps I’ll have to check it out!
I’m due for an upgrade soon. I might just consider getting this! Sounds awesome, I have no idea why I never checked it out before.
I love Sprint. The next time I am due for a new device I will have to look into this.
The camera takes great photos. I primarily use my cell phone to take photos for my blog goo. So a good camera and plenty of storage is a must.
My husband and I both have the LG G3 and we love them! I bet the G4 is even more amazing. Looking forward to upgrading!
Those pictures are amazing! My Galaxy S3 definitely needs an update. I’ve heard wonderful things in other reviews about this phone, especially the camera! Thank you for the review.
I just got a new smart phone. If not, I would definitely check out this one. Thank you for sharing.
Those pictures look awesome from this phone!! I need to check this phone out because it seems like an awesome phone! Thanks for sharing!
Wow, the clarity on the photos are just amazing. The LG G4 smartphone is great to have for spur of the moment pictures. If I would need a smartphone right now, I would definitely be heading over to Sprint to get this LG G4.
I need to upgrade my phone. I am so sad by how crappy my pictures come out! I need to try this one.
These are great photos. I just broke my cell phone so I am in the market for a new one. The LG G4 looks very promising. Thanks for sharing!
I need tons of storage space and good video capabilities. I love my phone!
