The Funeral . . . Rest In Peace Aunt Kay

I am writing this post from my parents house in Green Bay on dialup. I know that you may be wondering why I haven't posted in a couple days. Well, Will's 1st birthday was Saturday, and I will post more about that later. However, I found out on Thursday that my aunt had died after a 14 month battle with lung cancer. We knew it was coming, but it still sucks. I have been trying to figure out how to write this post for a couple of days now.

It was a sad long day. To get back in time, my parents and I left Chicago this morning at 3 (aff) am. Its about 8 now, so I am majorly dragging butt. It also was just sad and hard. I am so glad I came up for this. My uncle thanked me as I left tonight, because he knows just how far away I live (the funeral was 5 hours from my house). I wish Bill and the kids could have come up with me, but there was just no way to swing it.

I am not sure if I will be able to post tomorrow. It depends what time I actually get back home (aff). I will be on the bus all day long, then have to take a cab to the train, then take the train to Midway. One of my friends is picking me up at Midway. Wish me luck and please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.
