The Penniless Princess – God’s Little Girl

In this Veggie-version of the children’s book A Little Princess, by Frances Hodgson Burnett, Larry the Cucumber stars as Captain Crew and helps to teach an important lesson about knowing your own true worth to his young daughter, Sarah, even if only through his spirit.

Sweet Sarah has everything a little girl could want. However, when life takes a turn and she goes from riches to rags, will she realize that her true worth lies not in what she has, but what she has in her heart?

The Penniless Princess – God’s Little Girl does not disappoint. If you are a fan of the VeggieTales series, this is a must get DVD. I love the message of this DVD: who you are on the inside is what really counts in life. With all the craziness in this world, this is a message that kids (and heck, even some adults) should learn. My kids and I enjoyed this DVD and can only recommend it to you!
