The Secret Lives of Princesses Review and Giveaway

This giveaway is now over. The winner is Hannah Cridlebaugh. Congrats!

We’ve all heard about princesses like Snow White and Cinderella. However, have you heard about Princess Claire Voyant or Princess Do-Re-Mi or Princess Hot Head?  If not, you have to read The Secret Lives of Princesses.  This coffee table size book will introduce you to all the princess you’ve never heard about.  You’ll get a glimpse into these not so famous princesses lives.  For example, Princess Hot Head — well, she’d rather have a sword in her hand than play piano.  There is also a ton of information like the International Alphabet of Fans, techniques for waking a sleeping princess, how to travel be elephant, and the importance of secret gardens.  Madison, my 6 year old, adores this book.  We laugh together as we read it.  We talk about which princess we are like for that day.  We enjoy the detailed illustrations of the book too.  They are so well done and truly capture the essence of each princess.

This is such an awesome book that I have arranged for one lucky reader to get their very own copy!  Here’s what you need to do (please put each thing you do in its own comment):

  3. I would be Princess Fiona from Shrek. Now that's a Princess with attitude & very beautiful in her own unique way.

  4. I love animals, I would be Princess Anne Phibian…with frogs on my head and lots of them in my garden too!

Actaully, I feel like Princess Laughing My Head Off, looking at previews of this clever book! So cute and royally fun!

  5. Either Princess Oblivia or Quartermoon appealk to me. Love the concept and the illustrations…. So fey!

  6. I would be Princess Somnia. I always love to sleep and hate anything that requires exercising except hiking for some reason. I sure love to hike.

  7. I would be Princess Always Too Early, possibly because I am the daughter of a Princess Always Late. I took the quiz, very cute….according to it I would be a Whimsical Princess.

  8. My daughter would have to be Princess Oblivia because most of the time she seems oblivious about what's going on! Sadly (as my husband can attest) I would be Princess always Late! Thanks.

  9. I would like to be Princess Diane without the tragic ending. I watched the courtship and wedding and the breakdown. But she always held her own. This looks like a good sharing book!!!
