Train Trip

My kids travel a lot to see my parents (it's about a 4 hour drive). They know the anticipation of a trip which is why I knew my kids would love Train Trip.

Train Trip is about a little boy going to visit his Grandma!  As he looks forward to seeing his grandmother, the ride on the train may just be the best part of the trip. There are bridges to cross, instruments to study, and aisles to tromp up and down.  Even though my kids don't take the train to grandma's, they can definitely relate.

This book was easy enough for Madison to read to Will.  The story was simple and too the point.  It also opened up a conversation in our house about our drive to Green Bay, and what we see along the way.

Train Trip is a great read for ages 2 (aff)-5.
