We are a good dental care family especially now that Madison has braces. Normally, my kids would get their normal semi-annual check up. Now that Madison is in braces, we make a monthly checkup with them. I’m glad we really like them since we spend so much time with them now! That being said, Bill and I also see the same dentist every six months. Here are few tips that we can all do for good healthy oral care:
- Brush teeth twice a day, for at least two minutes each time
- Floss daily
- Visit a dentist regularly – every six months

I have been chewing Trident gum since I was a kid. I have TMJ, so I am not supposed to be chewing gum at all, but I sneak it sometimes.
I am not supposed to chew gum anymore, but I used to all the time. I have had major dental issues, and trying to get back to a healthy mouth.

Chewing gum helps your teeth? I with they’d stop putting aspartame in them though. I just can’t handle the taste!

This is so great to know that Trident donates a certain amount for every purchase of their gum. I totally support campaigns that give back to the community. I will be including Trident gum in my grocery list too.

We love trident at our house. If I have any in my purse and my kids find it it’s gone in a day. I have to buy it and hide it to keep it for longer. LOL
Wow a monthly check up is quite different but necessary. It’s nice that you have a good dental provider.
I wish I had dental insurance so I could afford to visit a dentist every six months. Last time I visited a dentist I was pregnant with the baby and my insurance then covered basic enough dental care that I got most of my cavities fixed and my almost all old fillings replaced.
