What makes Daddy a hero?
With Father's Day around the corner, it's time to think about what to get the Dads in our lives. I've already picked up my Father's Day Cards. However, I am still working on the presents. I've got something for my husband but nothing for his dad and nothing for my dad yet. We don't have any set Father’s Day traditions. It all depends where we are. If we are here in Chicago, we go visit my father-in-law. If we are in Green Bay, we see my dad before we leave to come home (aff). However, is liu of having no traditions, I asked my kids what makes their Daddy a hero. Here's their answers:
How would you answer that question? Or better yet, how would your kids answer it? 🙂
Aww! Precious! I don't have any children, yet. However I think those are some good answers – smart kids.
My daughter would say that her Dad is a hero because he works hard and takes care of us. Your children are too cute!!
So cute. Growing up I saw my dad as a hero because he was a fireman.
you gotta love any reason why kids think daddy is a hero. did he say spiderman?
He did say Spiderman. LOL
That is so cute.
Aww 🙂 I'm not really sure how our boys would answer what makes their Daddy a hero. I'll have to ask them this evening and see what response I get. Of the 6 Fathers Days we have spent as a family we don't have any traditions either. Though my hubby did say the other day that the best Fathers Day gift he has received was the year I wrote a poem and attached photos of him and the boys around it and had it framed.
Adorable! Great answers.
