WizKids Games Crate

WizKid Crate

[If you purchase something after clicking on the links in this post, I’ll probably earn a few bucks from it – we aren’t talking enough for a mansion or yacht but more like chocolate and wine. And if I mention a product, I probably got a sample and possibly a cash payment. WizKid CrateWith Covid-19 really taking away most of the fun things my kids wanted to do this summer, I have been looking for something for my kids to do. We are running out of things to stream, and we've played all the games in the house at least once already! Crazy, I know! However, I was really impressed with the WizKids Games Crate we recently checked out!

WizKids Games Crate is a bimonthly, mystery subscription crate that delivers 3 (aff) WizKids tabletop games (a $50+ value!) to your door every other month. The games can include card games, mini games, strategy games and more.

In our box, we got Spy (aff) Tricks, Yummy World, Palm Trees, and Coraline games. Spy (aff) Games is a battle of tricks to uncover government secrets. It is such a fun strategy game (and a memory one too because you have to keep track of what cards have and haven't been played yet). Its for kids 14+ plus but my 13 year old did fine with it. Yummy World is for kids 8+. You flip over cards to reveal all the delicious characters. You are trying to collect sets of the same character to score points. However, the rarer the sets you find, the more points you score! Palm Trees is so much fun. Your goal is to grow a tree in your hand. Yes, I am 100% serious. Each card will tell you the crazy way you have to hold each card. You can pick super challenging cards for your opponents, and hope they drop their cards! It's a totally silly game, but a blast to play. Lastly, we have Coraline. I love Coraline. The movie is so good, so I couldn't wait to play the game. For those of you who have never seen the movie, Coraline is about a young girl's journey to an alternative universe and her heroic return to reality. The game is a cooperative game so you are all playing along together. You are trying to free Coraline from the Other World. You find yourself confronting Mr. Bobinsky, fending off the Other Father, wrestling the pearl ring from Miss Spink and Miss Forcible, and stealing the skeleton key. However, you are going to be thwarted at every turn, so choose wisely and be quick!

The really nice thing with the WizKids Games Crateis that we got several game nights out of it. My family really enjoyed playing these games. This is such a great subscription box idea that will keep your whole family busy and having fun!
