Xenon Project S107G Mini Gyro

When I got the opportunity to review a RC helicopter, I knew I had to jump on it.  Not only did I know my kids would love it, I knew my husband would too.

The Syma S107 helicopter is what we were given to review.  The S107 flies with unprecedented stability for a helicopter of its size. (Bill does want me to tell you all that it does take a little playing with it to get use to the controls.  However, once you have them down, it is super easy to fly).  It is very portable.  The video you see below was taken at Uncle Kyle’s house over Memorial weekend.  I was hoping to get some video in the yard but it was super windy out.  However, he has perfect ceilings for flying helicopters.  🙂  I loved that this helicopter is charged via the included USB cable, making it possible for you to work on your laptop computer while your S107 charges for a quick flight during your study or work breaks.

Features

  • Miniature helicopter
  • Fun for all ages
  • Gyro system for precision movement and flight
  • Gyro system also provides stable hovering
  • Trim Control
  • Great for indoor play
  • Travel-friendly (charge from transmitter)

In the Box

  • S107 Helicopter
  • 3 Channel Radio Controller
  • USB Charger
  • Extra Tail Blade

My kids (3 and 7) can fly with this with some help.  However, they have to get it away from Daddy if they want too!  That’s how much everybody loves this!  On top of that, at the party we went too Memorial weekend — everyone took an opportunity to try it out.  My mother-in-law (when the wind died down) actually fly this over my brother-in-laws house!  When I say everybody would love this, they will!!!

Here’s the video (taken with a Flip Camera):

This is a great gift for all ages, all sexes, or maybe even yourself! Thanks again to XenonProject.com for sending us the RC helicopter to review!

  1. Oh. That looks like fun. I never had a remote control anything that I can recall. I think my parents didn't want me to having toys like that. I mean we have a really small house. So, it's not like I could fly something around without having it run into something. Haha! However, I think now I would appreciate it and have fun with it outside. 😀

  2. I Love this feature "I loved that this helicopter is charged via the included USB cable, making it possible for you to work on your laptop computer while your S107 charges for a quick flight during your study or work breaks."

    How fun! Kelli

  3. Remote Control helicopters are great fun for the whole family. There's a mini one that came out last year, from Air Hogs, that's a wonderful way to get the whole family involved and is easy on the budget, too.

I really like that the S107 can be charged via USB. Great feature.
